The small print.

Who provides Fate It?

Fate It and this website are provided by Michael Gorini. Contact michaelgorini@icloud.com with questions about these terms. These terms apply to the app and this website, alongside applicable Apple service terms and the App Store license terms.

It's entertainment

Fate It turns everyday dilemmas into AI-weighted wheels. Its percentages describe the chances of selecting the available options. They do not predict outcomes, establish facts or provide professional advice. AI can misunderstand your situation. Review the proposal before confirming it.

Do not use Fate It to delegate critical medical, legal, financial, safety or emergency decisions. You remain responsible for what you choose to do and can ignore any result. There are no wagers, credits, monetary prizes or rewards for following the wheel.

One confirmed wheel, one result

Before confirmation, you may change the context and regenerate the proposal. Confirmation locks that version. An explicit spin reveals its single saved result. A new occasion can have a new wheel. Offline edits may create separate versions, and synchronization can be delayed or unavailable.

The website has a confession

The “Should you get Fate It?” wheel is a deliberately biased promotional joke. Its displayed percentages vary, but it always lands on Yes. It is not a demonstration of the app's selection probabilities. In the app, selection follows the confirmed wheel's displayed weights.

Availability and cost

Fate It is free, with no advertising or in-app purchases. The app requires a compatible iPhone, the supported iOS version and Apple Intelligence. Local AI resources must be ready for offline generation. Apple controls model availability, guardrails, cloud access and service limits. iCloud sync requires the relevant Apple services. Network or mobile data charges may still apply.

Your content and your device

You keep your rights to the text and notes you enter. Use content you are entitled to use, and don't use the service to harm others or interfere with its operation. You are responsible for securing your device and any archive or image you export. See the privacy policy for how data is handled.

Software, changes and responsibility

The app and website are provided as available. We aim to keep them useful, but cannot promise uninterrupted operation, perfect AI output or successful synchronization. Features may change with app or Apple service updates. Keep your own export if you need an independent copy of your journal.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, we are not responsible for losses caused by relying on a game result or AI output. Nothing here excludes liability or statutory consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded. These terms do not limit rights you have under mandatory law.

Updates and contact

If these terms change, the updated version and date will appear here. Material changes will be explained through this site or an app update as appropriate. You can stop using Fate It at any time.
